Brought together in 2009 by mutual eclectic musical taste, obsession with anti-authoritarian politics and loud fuckin' ampzzz. We started playing shows in summer 2010, put out our first album, The Tower, in 2011 and toured the west coast twice in 2012 with our pals Fall the Giants and Edhochuli. In between all that we had one million good times, a lot of long winded conversations, and played countless benefit shows for causes & spaces we want to support.
In early 2013 Tim Iserman decided it was time to move on from the band and we thank him for all his hard work and the countless good memories. We called upon the honorable TJ Minich for bass duties and recorded our second album in a sweltering haze of smoke and sweat over 8 days in July & August 2013. We wasted no time releasing the resulting self-titled EP in late August and immediately embarked on a third west coast tour supporting it.
We were brought together by mutual interest in choice riffs and politics, but we quickly became like family and our individual lives have been profoundly shaped by our relationships with each other, through thousands upon thousands of hours of inspired conversation, sonic wormholes and hella crass jokes.
