Fog Father

Fog Father initially began as a studio project by Bryson Hansen in 2012 consisting of pop and soul grooves created out of toy keyboards, choral arrangements and amateur Music Concréte. The songs were written quickly with a distinct focus on early pop sensibilities, scattered among strange textural tape collages and jarring effects. After months performing solo with only guitar and tape machine, Hansen eventually put together a full live band with long time collaborator David Rosman on bass and mutual friends Marty Walsh on drums, Jacob Elias on guitar and Berg Radin on auxiliary keys. In the time since the initial formation, the live group has evolved dramatically. Berg Radin and Jacob Elias moved on to other projects, Thomas Burke joined in to play bass and David Rosman took over guitar. Bryson Hansen's role continues to act as the initial spark for new material and arangements; carrying the role synth, collage and lead vocals.
