Saucy Yoda

Whether it's a bar, festival, coffee shop, strip club, grandma's house or a barnyard hoedown, Saucy Yoda brings the party. Her sound is a mash-up of riot girl, doo-wop, and rap with a garage-punk twist. On the surface her lyrics sound upbeat and playful, packed full of 80s nostalgia, jokes, innuendos, couplets from yearbook scribblings and filthy children's hop-scotch banter. But often the comical side to the songs mask darker messages. Some have described her music as Le Tigre meets The Moldy Peaches, or Peaches meets Cindy Lauper. Her attitude-fueled slapstick and pop melodies get audiences singing and dancing in no time.
