Daniel Elder & Jude Brewer

Daniel is teaming up with Jude Brewer for the performance of The Raven this year. He told us he’s obsessed with the poem, and that he recites it randomly all the time- in his house, his back yard, while riding his bike around Portland, etc. That kind of passion is sure to create magic on the stage!
Daniel Elder was born and raised in Jackson Heights, Queens. He lives and writes in Portland, Oregon, with his cat Terence. His writing appears at Maudlin House, Portland Review, Gertrude Press, and more, and is forthcoming at The Rumpus.

Jude’s writing has appeared in New Millennium Writings, Fredericksburg Literary Review, Clackamas Literary Review, Scintilla Press, Typishly, and Cultured Vultures. His nonfiction short, 2012, 2016, 2017 was a finalist in the 2017 Montana Book Festival. He also hosts the literary “radio theatre” podcast Storytellers Telling Stories.
