Portland, Oregon DIY dream-pop trio Lubec have released Cosmic Debt, their sophomore full-length album. It follows a recent 2016 EP and The Thrall, their 2014 debut.

Lyrically, the new collection is a response to the limitless, wide-eyed optimism and fractals of possibility that so openly defined The Thrall. Instead, it makes a frantic effort to ruminate on the cost of an indulged lifestyle within a band, their relationships and even the country at large using atypical guitar chords, blankets of fuzzed piano and crashing drums that hope to challenge traditional pop logic.
